No, seriously. This was a feast day as far back as the early Roman Catholic Church. Let us all fast and avoid dances of seven veils! Okay, so most stuff I know about Salome and St. John comes from the Oscar Wilde play. He doesn’t mention a feast day in there so this is all I got.
